Oliva Serie V Double Robusto

Oliva Serie V Double Robusto (5x54)
Wrapper: Habano sun Grown from Ecuador
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan- Jalapa Valley Ligero
Price: $5.50-$6.00

Combination of Nicaraguan tobacco wrapped by an Ecuadorian Habano Sun Grown leaf. This combo perhaps may be my favorite of any combination of tobacco. The Oliva family grows some excellent wrapper.

Perfect oily sheen to a chocolate brown wrapper and flawless construction to the cigar. One of the most beautiful cigars in the market. After cutting, the vitola had an easy draw and with a tad bit of tightness to it(perfect).

At first light, immediate flavors of delicious leather consume your taste buds and olfactories. Milk chocolate comes through in the second third of the cigar, but still dominated by leather. Perfect burn, no touch ups, and continues to draw effortlessly. Last third developed some heat. Espresso notes came out at end completing the full bodied smoke. Lots of nicotine smacks you in the end. Good earthiness throughout the smoke; cubanesque.

Score: 92
