Casa Magna Colorado Robusto

Casa Magna Colorado Robusto (5.5x52)
Wrapper: Nicaraguan
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan
Price: $5.00

The vision of Manuel Quesada and created by Nestor Plasencia in Nicaragua. A beautiful cigar to behold, with a perfect wrapper that exudes oils. Completely unflawed construction.

Upon cutting, the dry draw was easy and perfect with no resistance. The vitola lit easily and burned evenly, no touch ups. Initial flavors of heavy spicy pepper notes. This spiciness mellowed out about an inch in and brought superb flavors of leather, nutmeg, and black tea flavors. Very complex cigar. Last third of cigar became bitter with dark chocolate. Overall, excellent cigar!

Best Cigar in the $5.00 range, outside of Oliva Serie V Belicoso. 2008 Cigar Aficionado #1 Cigar of the Year.

Score: 93 (Could get better with some more time in the humidor)
