Brewed by the Lagunitas Brewing Company in Petaluma, California.
Style: Red Ale
ABV: 8.5%
Color is reddish amber. Hops are prevalent on the nose. Citrus wiff on the back end of nose with forefront of roasted caramel and brown sugar.
On the palate, the beer brings light malty flavors. I thought the beer would be heavier, but is actually light-medium bodied. Very dry and herbal like finish. Doesn't stay long on the palate. Herbal bitterness clings to sides of my mouth. Don't personally like the finish.
